Despite the rise of a range of online payment methods, Cash on Delivery is still one of the preferred payment options in many countries.

Why do customers choose cash on delivery? Many people don’t like to take risks, especially when they make a purchase in a new online store for the first time. Shoppers don’t want to pay until they receive their products. This payment method excludes the risk of losing money as customers pay for products at the time of delivery.

Also, customers won't have to worry about security, as they don't have to give their financial information to the seller.

And one more fact worth mentioning is that nowadays many people still live in areas where credit cards and digital payments are not possible yet! Thus, Cash on Delivery is the only possible payment method for such people. So, offering Cash on Delivery is a must for your online store.

The Cash On Delivery module allows your customers to pay their orders using the Cash on Delivery payment method. Please note that this module cannot be applied to downloadable virtual products.
