This osCommerce store features the Free Downloads FX contribution. The Free Downloads FX contribution incorporates the Downloads Controller and the PayPal IPN module. The Custom Create Account contribution by Terra has been added to the project as well. The store presents a unique banner, background theme and a navigation bar all of which was created in photoshop.
Various trial version software products are available as free downloads. After download the customer will receive an email with a registration link, then after payment the customer will receive an email with a registration code. Both of these emails can be edited. The Free Downloads FX contribution also provides a unique user interface in the Admin section which allows a store owner to add multiple Free Downloads products at one time and enable a low stock notice of Free Downloads products to the store owner.
To begin with, the Free Downloads FX contribution was written specifically for this store then later configured as a contribution to the osCommerce project.
