Testing: If you want to test this contribution, copy "quick_priceupdates.php" to your admin directory and navigate to the file

Small Changes
- install instructions

- screen shots

- combined price & stock to one file (cleaned up a bit)

- lists product name to compliment mouse over mod (thanks)

- lists product model

- clicking on product name navigates to edit (shortcut through categories/products)

- support for those that use "Master Products"
"displays (master) and color code if product is master"
"displays (slave) and color code if product is slave"
"displays product name in standard format if product is normal"

- commented out all other menus (all that shows is "all categories" drop down)

- changed some text to try to make sense of whole "last performed action" & "checkmark box"
"checkbox = checkmarked
if product is active, but stock is changed to 0, on update the product will NOT be active.
if product is not active, but stock is changed to 1+, on update the product will be active.
however
checkbox = NOT checkmarked
if product is active, but stock is changed to 0, on update the product will remain active.
if product is not active, but stock is changed to 1+, on update the product will remain NOT active.

What I changed

In previous versions you could not see the name of the product you were updating unless you hovered over the picture. This is fine if you know what each item looks like, but if you are selling multiple items that look the same but have different specs, its a headache. So! This updated version will show you the name of the product in text that you are about to update.

i forgot to put both files into the package, sorry for any inconvience..

I saw two versions of this little handy tool. The first one was to quick-edit the quantities, the second was to quick-edit the prices.
So I modified this code a <BIT> - brought those two functions together and did a 'lazy' translation into german

Forgot to include a very important comment in the source code and installation text.

I needed a module that I could change all the prices in a category
very easily. I came accross Mattice's Stock Updater (which i use
just about every other day) I like the mod, added some simple changes
and used it for changes the prices in the catagories.

So I thought if I needed a module, someone else might be able to use it.

Made some minor fixes so that it can now be included in the catalog box

I had downloaded Mattice's quick stock updater, and use it just about everyother day. I decided to adapt it to change the prices in an entire catagory.

While functional the credit goes to mattice, and all i did was make some minor changes.
