Hi Guys,

yes, i did another bubu, I misspelled "translator" on the osc_translator folder
Rename folder from osc_translater folder to osc_translator folder

In osc_translater folder rename translater.css to translator.css

In product_info.php do the same changes.

Find:

<script type='text/javascript' src="/osc_translater/prototype1.6.1.js"></script>
<script type='text/javascript' src="/osc_translater/EventDispatcher.js"></script>

And replace it with:
<link rel="stylesheet" href="osc_translator/translator.css" type="text/css" media="screen">
<script type='text/javascript' src="/osc_translator/prototype1.6.1.js"></script>
<script type='text/javascript' src="/osc_translator/EventDispatcher.js"></script>

On the bright side on this update:


I have added ((((((((Product Reviews Translation mod!!!)))))))))))

Now all your product reviews will be translated at the click of a button

I also added in product_reviews.php (Read the Full Review.) link to view the full review.

Hi Guys,,
First of all i commited a bubu on produc_info.php (SORRY)

I put in the wrong directories for the javasctipt

in line 229 find:
<link rel="stylesheet" href="translater.css" type="text/css" media="screen">
<script type='text/javascript' src="/includes/javascript/prototype1.6.1.js"></script>
<script type='text/javascript' src="/includes/javascript/EventDispatcher.js"></script>

And replace it with:
<link rel="stylesheet" href="osc_translater/translater.css" type="text/css" media="screen">
<script type='text/javascript' src="/osc_translater/prototype1.6.1.js"></script>
<script type='text/javascript' src="/osc_translater/EventDispatcher.js"></script>

I also added a bug fix file for those using prettyphoto regarding jquery.
For any other modules using jquery: Ultimate_Osc_Translator uses prototype code and is know to have issues when working with each other.
The same fix I appyed to prettyphoto can be applyed to all other jquery scripts to have compatability with prototype.

(Example)
If you see this:
$(document).ready(function(){

Change to this:
jQuery(document).ready(function(){

Just replace $ with jquery and you should be fine.


I also updated prototype1.6.js to the las vervion available prototype1.6.1.js

This is a full package and is fully updated.

What this module will do for you...

This is not your tipical translator that translates your entire site and distorts it to the point that it looks like a "Picasso".
For those who have tried several translators on their osc sites, (you know what I mean by that.

This module will only translate what you want it to translate, this package includes 15 different languages.
It is powered by a Google API.

English,Spanish,French,Italian,Portuguese,German,Dutch,Greek,Russian,
Chinese(Simplified),Chinese(Traditional),Japanese,Korean,Hindi,Arabic,

There are an additional 25 or so languages you can add to this.

I will add more as time permits.

This package contains the necessary instructions to install translator for your product description in product_info.php.
Estimate time to install is 2min. THAT SIMPLE!

But why stop there, you can add this translator to; Reviews, Policies, FAQs, About Us,
Information pages and/or any other text on your site.

Feel free to add on to this cool contribution.
