I have attempted to update the verification code to allow for new mastercard ranges etc after complaints from customers who could not purchase with legal cards. I got the numbers from the following pdf.

I suggest everyone keeps there ranges current by checking once a month or so for new ranges. Unfortunately, it does not seem to be possible to be notified when new ranges are released unless you have merchant accounts. The only file that I have changed is the cc_validation.php file. This file is 100% based on the original authors work, I have merely added a few extra ranges.

Corrected error on line 78 of includes/classes/cc_validation.php which caused some visa cards to be wrongly identified as JCB

JCB numbers run from
352800 to 358999, not 458999 as in original file

Just a note.

I installed this on my Creloaded version of Oscommerce and had to put the additions to the configure.php files in application.top as when I ran the install process on my test server the additions were removed.

This is not a complete package just an updated readme file.

if you're having trouble using this package and oscommerce2.2ms2...

(for instance i had trouble getting the orders to show in the admin page, and in the customers account history)

there are a couple of dbqueries which didnt seem right...

try replacing line ~ 36 in includesclassesorder.php with....

Added missing issue and cvv data entered checks.

Total reintegration into POST Nov snapshot due to new Nov class CVS rewrite in oSC.

Fixed a bug in cc_validations where start and end date are in same year.

Added delete button onto the admin orders screen. This will remove cvv number and is used once the order has been processed.

Fixed 2 bugs and rewrote ccval.php.
This now adds alot more control over credit cards. You can turn on/off specific credit cards and the validations have been significantly improved.

PS please fully check this BEFORE installing on a live site. As I have not been able to test the validation of Solo or Maestro cards

This was orginaly "UK Debit Card (Switch) payment facility".

I have now incorporated the collection of cvv. Both of these facilities can be turned on/off from the configuration.php files.

Please be aware it is still not fool proof and will release a more thorough validation when I have time.

This adds Debit Card (Switch) payment facility to the standard offline cc.php module.

A) It is not fool proof. I have tried to get help validating solo cards etc and failed. So if you find any valid cards that do not get accepted please mail me and I will update this contribution.
B) The 2.2-CVS version it is based on is now a month or two old.
