This modification will show the Model Number on the catalog Categories / Products selection page to assist in identifying the CORRECT item. It came about since manufacturer's often change product numbers while keeping the same item description.

I modified v 1.01 to add another column to show the quantiy in stock in the admin catagories

If you get the clause 1054 error, this is due to not having the free shipping module installed, the author must of added this to his installation and forgot to take out "p.products_free_shipping"
If already installed V1.01, open admin/categories.php and search for ", p.products_free_shipping" (without the quotes) and delete it.
Otherwise full fixed install attached.
After getting asked if the model number could also be searched we added the model number to the search...
