With this little change you can make this contribution compatible with more than one language, for example in the product_info page, the expresion "votes in total". In my case I have modified the contrib to make it compatible with english and spanish, but you cant add more languages very easily.

In the ZIP file there is an instructions txt and the modified _drawrating.php file (for the spanish and english languages)

Version 1.1 was missing a sql statement so the average didnt work.

To update from 1.1 just replace the old rpc.php with the new one otherwise just install as normal.

You can now show top ten voted of each category, I have also changed the new_product listing to show user ratings.

To update just replace the two modules otherwise just install as normal, this is a full package.

If you don't feel like using the review system this may be something you like. Each person can rate once (based on the ip number) and you can later on show the top rated products on for example your main page.
And ajax makes it possible to vote without reloading the page.

If you want an example you can check the site im working on at the moment but I have added some stuff to my list and changed the rating image, it will basically look like new products but with the ratings under the price, heres the link:
