Multilanguage and now, date entry order is automatically set acording to country.(US UK - EU mode)
Now fixed & simplfied, using STORE_COUNTRY, you may need to add extra country ID`s for USA dates.

Added default year on creat account.
Added more countries to the format list

I`ve created a standard function for the date, so it can be used elswhere & provide a cleaner install.

As there seems to be no thread for this contribution, Its probably best to say this here,

It seems that there is a problem with people using apple mac's and the safari web browser, sometimes they get an error with the dob format it seems. Although I have tried to replicate this by using the safari webbrowser on windows it still worked fine, so I do not know why some people are experiencing this issue.

I am in 2 minds whether to take out the date of birth completley.

small update for previous package

in catalog/create_account.php file
Just:

Find: for($i=1900; $<=3000; $i++)

Replace with: for($i=1900; $i<=3000; $i++)

That's all. now is fixed...

After reviewing last mod during installation. The pull down menu for the year was restricted to 1900-1999. A slight change in code now allows for the customer to have a birth year between 1900-3000.

I cleaned it up, i wouldn't put it in my shop with that code as messy as it was without even knowing where the edits finished. I updated the install, grammar, added EOF comments and added a tiny bit to instructions.
I installed and worked perfect!

This little contribution makes a pulldown menu to set the date of birth for customers.
Normally users have to type in the exact date like the example, if not the user is not able to register and thus will leave the site because he / she can't register.

This alternate version is for those using the European day-month-year (dd-mm-yyyy) date format, instead of the US month-day-year (mm-dd-yyyy) date format.

For those using the standard osCommerce US date format, please see the original package.
