Basic Design Pack
Basic design pack 1.0
This is not a real contribution as such...its just an easy to use short-cut to make your own osc design.
Included in this pack is:
- Fixed width with css by Devhype and Rhea Anthony
- Remove default images David Allen
What will this pack do?
1. It will center your shop and give you the possibilety to set outside background color in the stylesheet.
2. It will remove the default oscommerce cartoonish icons
3. It removes the rounded infobox corners and replaces them with square transparent ones, so you can change the colors in the styleaheet.
4. It removes the osCommerce banner in the footer
5. It will make it easy to have 1 top graphic logo filling the whole header width.
Thats it.....
How to use....Just drop over a defaut oscommerce shop.....and you are finished...

Due to a function in the new thumbnailer introducted on version 2.4, some of the default 1x1 px images would not show, these images have now been resized to 50x50px.
A new and improved version of the thumbnailer have been added and Gosub's changes for width and height of css buttons have also been added.

This version fixes the problem with fixt width of the css buttons that caused long labels on buttons to overflow. That was really ugly :(
I found a way to dynamically calculate the width from the label value. I also included a ling-hight value so the text lines up at the same hight as the regular submit buttons.
Changes from 2.1 to 2.2
The originaly used thumbnailer (automatic thumbnails 3v17) has been removed due to causing http 500 error headings on some hosting/server setups and have now been replaced with ('On the Fly' Auto Thumbnailer using GD Library) .
One more alternative html_output.php added to the pack. This html_output.php is for those who use the latest oscommerce snapshot , osCommerce Online Merchant v2.2 Release Candidate2a.

Historical overview:

11. Added Great Categories , this gives a categories/menu box that looks better, have clearer navigation path markings and the looks are further customizable in stylesheet.css
12. One more alternative html_output.php added to the pack. This html_output.php is for those who use the latest oscommerce snapshot , oscommerce-2.2ms2-051113 .
13. Infobox Customizer by Jorge Suarez , This lets you control the styles of your infoboxes on an individual basis in the stylesheet.css file
14. One more alternative html_output.php added to the pack. This html_output.php is for those who wish to have the automatic thumbnails function but not the css buttons.
15. In images/ProductNotificationsBox/ one image was named incorrectly and would not show on the website , this iamge has now been renamed correctly.
16. An optional test skin has been added to the pack. It is located in a separate folder named /grey-skin/ , screenshot included, to use this skin simply copy the content of the /grey-skin/catalog/ to your shops main folder. Att. This skin should only be applied after the Basic Design Pack has been installed first.
