Eliminate Subcategories + Add Search + DropDown Anywhere
With this contribution you may add a search box with a drop down box anywhere to your site, also this contribution allows you to eliminate all of the subcategories from your drop down box and keep only the top categories (I had 50+ categories including subcategories) This helped me to eliminate the extra bulk so the customer could search exactly what they wanted without wading through millions of categories and subcats.
