I had not read your posting, but since I was not using the flat rate option, I simply changed the title and description (includes>language>english>modules>shipping>flat) to "Customer Pick-Up" and the way to a description of the method. Now I am ready to use this methods as a customer pick up where I can set a small handling fee.

I noticed that in my application of this contribution the visitor may not be aware of "where" the store is located -- in order to select this option that information would be critical so I've created a link with the text "Our Address" which opens a new browser window pointed at the contact_us.php page.

This is a simple dutch translation of customer pickup.

This is a danish(+english) translation incl both shipping and payment module.

Customer Pickup

This shipping module, if enabled from the admin, gives people an option of picking up the
order instead of having it shipped to them.
