As in most cases and also found in the support-topic: the 1.6 version does not work.

Because the 1.5 version is a stable one I use this all the time.

What is new or what has changed in 1.5.1:
I've removed some bugs found in the support topic regarding duplicate Meta-description and duplicate Meta-keywords.
Changed also is the Meta-description on the index.php.
I've also changed the lenght of the meta_create_title as in most cases the was to short.

moved store general meta previsously in admin define to langages files
changed $meta_cache_files_path = DIR_FS_CATALOG.'cache/' to $meta_cache_files_path = DIR_FS_CATALOG . DIR_FS_CACHE as it is set in admin

If you are using information pages unlimited.
This will add title and metatags to your page based on the information page title.

Only the SQL file is in this package.

Changed includes/meta_tags.php to read from database instead of the language file. Took out Definitions in the languages/meta_tags.php and placed them in the database. Removed the second instance of keywords, as it seems to generate more than enough keywords already.

Changelog for v1.4 :

- meta description : "..." is only displayed if displayed string is shorter than input string
- added language_id to all database queries where missing.

Full package.

This is a great contribution - takes about 5 minutes to install, and blows header tags controller away in my opinion but you have to decide that for yourself. Header Tags controller gives you much more control over each product, but is difficult to install for the average guy - and is choppy due to many hands in the mix, not to mention, many code pieces do not work and aren't even called for - this contribution does everything for you and VERY quickly!
Just a side note:
When editting in TSW Webcoder I noticed that it was not accepting the last */ and thus was 'greying' out all the following text afterwards so I just changed it to ensure it would be called. Might not be an issue but just wanted to post it in case someone was having issues or though this contribution wouldn't work for thembecause of this.

Fixed some logig in /includes/meta_tags.php to resolve a duplicate result and few other small things.

The only real change is /includes/meta_tags.php page.

Fixed small big in admin file so if you dont have cache classs with not generate error - no other changes to code.

Added a folder and .htaccess file and change some code so there is not path to specify...

Alos added variables to control if the Model Number and/or the Manufacturer is in the title.

Removed my loacal path - nothing big....

This contribution is similar to other meta tag contributions except is utilizing some custom code that gets most of the data from the database and uses things like Category Names, Products Name, Product Description and Manufacturer Name to create the meta tags.

The big advance of this contribution is it has the ability to CACHE the results. This will speed up your store and reduce server load. It is compatible with file caching or Chemo's New Cache Class. It is not required to install Chemo's Cache Class unless you want to cache the results in the database.
