Search Engine Optimization for osCommerce Web Store - SEO PHP Functions

As more and more Web sites have become dynamically generated (with dynamic URL's), search engines have improved in order to crawl and index more of these dynamic sites. Search engines such as Google and Yahoo have been actively crawling and indexing dynamic URL's, such as those found with osCommerce, for some time now. Other smaller search engines are trying to do the same.

There's a lot of confusion concerning SEO and Search Engine Friendly URL's, so let me try to summarize. You don't need to reformat your osCommerce URL's to static URL's, but you do need to take the necessary steps to ensure that your URL's are search engine friendly. Cheers!
