Cross-Browser PNG Alpha Transparency Support
PNG files with alpha transparency currently do not display properly in Internet Explorer without using special code which breaks non-IE browsers.
This addon enables osCommerce to dynamically generate code that will allow PNG files with alpha transparency to work in all known modern browsers across all major platforms. For IE browsers, custom code is generated that uses DirectX to render the PNG files inside the browser, allowing for alpha transparency. For non-IE browsers, normal code is generated.
This plugin also enables javascript client-side browser detection in osC.
