The module is based on the 1mdc module (which was based on the e-gold module).
EMOcorp is connected to most digital currencies - e-gold, EVOcash, Netpay etc., in addition to Visa, Mastercard, personal checks etc.

Here is an updated Payment Module. Lots more bells and whistles. Can even add to the EMO module title from the admin control panel for your promotion of this payment method.
Added the ability to add or subtract a dollar amount surcharge. Also added the ability to add or subtract a percentage surcharge.
Great features to give a discount to customers who elect to pay with EMO vs other more costly methods.
Complete package ready to install.
Also added a IPN notification file which receives the RPN results and emails them to you.
Includes a Flow chart of how shopping cart and checkout files step through.
