Extra product pictures
Want multiple resizable pictures of your products in the Product Description window?<b>
Happi Multi Pix is text that you paste into the Product Description box. All YOU have to do is edit the URL to where ever your jpg or tif is located.<b>
There is no risk to your OSC installation as you do not edit ANY files!!!!<b>
It offers up to eight thumbnails of 100X80 which will load pop-ups of 800X600 /"out of the box/", but you can have fewer without any changes or more with only a little effort.<b>
Just download this text file and follow my instructions. Let me know how you get on.
You can see Happi Multi Pix working here:
http://ambermines.co.uk//product_info.php?cPath=22&products_id=35
Expand All / Collapse All
Added Window.focus() to the javascript code to bring an existing picturewindow always to the front when selecting another image.
This is it!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have stripped out all the instructions etc and just left the bare essentials.
All you have to do with this version is edit the thumbnail and target URLs.
Cheers
Tim
I have updated the instructions to explain how to delete the OSC default resizing picture from the product description area.
It's a little bit more scary because you have to edit a file - but it's just one file and you only have to delete one block of text. Don't skip the back up instruction however.
Looks really professional now.
Please let me know if the instructions are easy to follow - they are supposed to be written for newbies like myself!
